We are so proud to be the official sponsor for the wonderful Woolston Wildcats u10s!
Woolston Wildcats u10s is a grassroots football club which is part of one of the biggest clubs in Warrington. This is their fourth season playing in the Warrington Junior Girls League, coached by female coach Laura Cowap and assistant coach Chris Birchall.
Coach Laura says "Woolston Wildcats gives the community, especially girls, the opportunity to play a sport they love. Grassroot football benefits children from all different backgrounds allowing them to develop social, communication and football skills in a fun and enjoyable environment".
"We chose KidX as it’s a brand focused on children and families. I wanted to share their idea to our community so people can turn their outgrown clothes or unwanted toys into cash, to provide extra funds during struggling times or to purchase second hand items at cheaper prices than buying new."
Woolston wildcats give the community, especially girls, the opportunity to play a sport they love. Women's football is on the rise and there are not many girls teams around so it is our aim to show our community that girls should have equal opportunities as boys teams. KidX is giving our community the chance to turn unwanted items into funds to provide for their families. By providing kits to give our girls the best opportunities to play football.
We fundraise as best as we can throughout the season to give back to the team for their commitment and effort. We organise Christmas parties, end of season parties as well as team building days out. This year we plan on hosting a quiz night to raise funds. Any donations would be greatly appreciated (contact loobybeckham@gmail.com for more details)
We are with you there, Laura. We can’t wait to see the Woolston Wildcats roar!
